Research

One of the most important pillars of the Swedish National Defence College is its own base of knowledge and expertise. Research at the College is a vital element of both the academic process and the development of the scientific foundations required in all academic education.

All research projects are closely linked to the education and training at the College and look into areas, which are not the subject of research at other colleges, universities and research institutions in Sweden.

We are committed to research into subjects and fields of interest unique to the College.

At the College we have a unique Command and Control Laboratory, which supports research and exercises in the field of Command and Control.

Research Cooperation

As well as our own research, the College conducts joint research with organisations and centres of learning, both in Sweden and internationally.
