Swedish National Defence College in talks with NATO regarding a deepened cooperation
Professor Maja K. Eriksson, acting vice-chancellor of the Swedish National Defence College met with Ms. Susan Pond, Senior Officer in the Defence and Security Economics Directorate at NATO Headquarters. The aim of the meeting was to discuss the anti-corruption orientated program "Building Integrity in Defence Institutions" (BIDE).

SEK 2.5 million to research project on international law and organised armed groups
The Swedish Research Council has granted SEK 2.5 million to a new research project: "Organised Armed Groups and the International Law of Armed Conflict: Challenges and Prospects". Responsible for the project is dr. Jann K. Kleffner, head of the International Law Centre at the Swedish National Defence College. The other members of the research project are professor Jan Willem Honig and dr. Lisa Hultman.

International expertise gathers in Stockholm
A conference on Russian military development has attracted the world's leading experts on Russian security policy. The conference has been organised by the Swedish National Defence College (FHS) and the Swedish Defence Research Agency (FOI) and runs from 4-5 October.

Professor Gerry Larsson at the Swedish National Defence College, has been chosen as a Highly Commended Award Winner at the Literati Network Awards for Excellence 2010.
