Organised Armed Groups and the international law of armed conflict: Challenges and Prospects

About the project

The project aims fundamentally to rethink the international legal regulation of organised armed groups and to inquire whether and to what extent the international legal framework needs to be developed so as to be better equipped to address the phenomenon of these groups. The project adopts a cross-disciplinary approach by drawing on international law, history and political science.
