True Usefulness of Advanced (Computerized) [Military] Technological Systems in Situations not Completely Predictable during Design [Tentative title]

About the project

Advanced technology is ubiquitous, often constituting the fundamental means for activities, not least in the military world. Modern technology is also increasingly computerized, which may imply properties that are extremely difficult for human beings to cooperate with. This may in turn lead to problems when used in unpredictable situations. Consequently, really useful technological progress may in fact imply a reduced usefulness, if utilized without scrutiny.
