Peter Neumann, professor vid Kings College i London gästar Försvarshögskolan. Föreläsningen vänder sig i första hand till våra studenter. Utomstående får möjlighet att lyssna i mån av plats.

Peter Neumann has over 10 years of experience within the field of terrorism studies and he currently serves as the OSCE Chairman's Special Representative on Countering Violent Radicalization. His latest research takes on the importance of social media in regard to radicalization as well as the symbiosis between criminal groups and violent Islamic milieus. In this lecture, Professor Neumann will describe his findings and the future challenges for counterterrorism.

Peter Neumann is Professor of Security Studies at the Department of War Studies, King's College London, and has directed the International Centre for the Study of Radicalisation since its foundation in early 2008. He also currently serves as the OSCE Chairman's Special Representative on Countering Violent Radicalisation. He has authored or co-authored six other books and many articles and papers on terrorism. He is much in demand as an advisor and consultant to governments, the courts, the UN and other international agencies, and to the broadcast and print media around the world.
