How do I borrow and return?

As a user at the Anna Lindh library you have access to the library's collections of both printed and electronic material

How to borrow

At all libraries, there are self-check machines for borrowing and returning books. You borrow with your library card or social security number and your pin code.

The loan period is 28 days. You can extend your loan, 28 days at a time, up to a maximum of 168 days.

You cannot borrow:

  • if someone else has requested the book
  • if you have a debt on 100SEK or more
  • if you have received several overdue letters without returning the book

Renewals and reservation of books

You can renew your books and reserve borrowed materials by logging in to My loans.

Books located at the Karlberg branch and the Swedish Defense Forces headquarters can be requested in Primo and picked up at the main library (Anna Lindh library).

Returning books

In the main library there is a self-check machine for returning books outside the entrance. You can return your books until 5pm during weekdays. Then the Swedish Defence University closes.

At the Karlberg branch, it is best to return the books via the self-check machine inside the library. The public cannot return books at Karlberg.
