Service Office
The Service Office coordinates the Swedish Defence University's support and service functions.
The Service Office is abbreviated AVS and is led by Head of Division Jörgen Croon.
The division has archives, registry, legal functions and security functions, as well as sections for premises supply and purchasing.
Registrar, archive and legal
The Registrar's Office creates a good management of operational information where information is efficiently and systematically created, received, used and preserved or disposed of. The archive is the authority's collection of public documents, analogue and digital, regardless of age or where the documents are located. SEDU's legal function (legal officer and procurement legal officer) are responsible for overall support and advice on legal issues.

Infrastructure Section
Responsible for strategic provision of premises, service support and management and development of the university's premises in Stockholm and Karlstad. The section handles contact with landlords and internal tenants. The section is also responsible for the University's art and traditional activities.
Peter Landén is the head of the section and responsible for the premises.

Procurement Section
Coordinates procurements, is responsible for e-commerce and provides support in matters of procurement, purchasing and contracts/agreements. Charlotte Edvinsson is the acting head of the section.

Security Section
Responsible for security, protective security, IT and information security and signal protection at the Swedish Defence University. The section is also responsible for the technical security systems in the university's premises and the issuance of so-called Security Clearance at the request of the SEDU Protocol. Operationally, the IT Office handles issues relating to IT and information security and is responsible for the technical management of the security systems.
Elisabeth Wall is Head of Security and also Head of Protective Security at the Swedish Defence University. The Vice-Chancellor delegates the Head of Security to:
- Check that the operations are conducted in accordance with the provisions of the Protective Security Act (2018:585) and the Protective Security Ordinance (may not be sub-delegated).
- Decide on issues relating to security, protective security (e.g. deciding whether a procurement needs to be security-protected) and signal protection services.
