Mentimeter
Mentimeter is a web-based presentation tool that you use to create engagement in teaching, meetings or other types of gatherings.
As an employee, you log in with your SEDU account and Single Sign On (SSO) to access Mentimeter. With the university's license, you can use Mentimeter without restrictions and have access to all features.
How it works
With Mentimeter, you build interactive presentations where participants respond in real time via mobile or computer. The results are displayed directly on the screen, can be analyzed afterwards and you can easily embed them in Canvas. The tool support classroom teaching, hybrid settings and online sessions.
With Mentimeter, you can
- Engage: Interact with live polls, quizzes, and word clouds that everyone equally can participate in.
- Visualize learning: see real-time answers and use them to deepen reasoning, clear up ambiguities, and spark discussions.
- Track progress over time: discover knowledge gaps, monitor development and evaluate learning outcomes
- Collaborate: share your presentations with colleagues.
Please note that before sharing your Menti with a colleague, the person must have logged in to Mentimeter.
Data management and GDPR
Avoid collecting sensitive personal data in your questions. Also avoid questions that could identify respondents. Mentimeter could, in theory, trace the answer back to an individual.
