Strategic Talks on the War in Ukraine and Western Strategies for 2023
The Strategy Division at the Department of War Studies and Military History invites all staff and students to Strategic Talks on the war in Ukraine. Among the panelists are Andreas von Beckerath, head of the unit for East Europe and Central Asia at the Swedish Ministry for Foreign Affairs and Fredrik Löjdquist, Head of Centre for East European Studies. The talks will be held in English.
Thursday 15 December at 17-19 all students and staff are welcome to Sverigesalen for a seminar in the Strategic Talks series. The theme is The war in Ukraine – 9 months of War and Western Strategies for 2023.
- Fredrik Löjdquist, Head of Centre for East European Studies,
- Fredrik Wesslau, a diplomat who has served in the European Union Advisory Mission in Ukraine
- Andreas von Beckerath, Head of the unit for East Europe and Central Asia at the Swedish Ministry for Foreign Affairs and former ambassador to Ukraine.
- Lt Col Johan Huovinen, military teacher in strategy at the Swedish Defence University
