Trial of three e-resources

Swedish Defence University has been given an opportunity to try out three electronic resources. The first one is a resource with broad coverage and the other two are focused on technology.

ProQuest One Academic

The service contains four modules with broad subject coverage.

• ProQuest Central: Journals from 1970 across all major subject areas, including Social Sciences, Business, Health and Medical, Education, Science and Technology and Humanities. Also news, blogs and magazines.
• Academic Complete: More than 180 000 e-books, multidisciplinary.
• Academic Video Online: Documentaries, interviews, performances, news programs and newsreels, and more.
• ProQuest Dissertations & Theses Global: Dissertations & Theses.

IEEE Xplore

IEEE Xplore provides access to millions of full text documents from scientific publications and conferences in technology, computer science and electronics. E-books from for example MIT Press and Wiley, standards and online courses are also included.

Subject areas are: Aerospace, Cyber security, Mobility, Embedded software, Digital thread, Internet of Things, 5G, AI, System integration, Software engineering, Cloud computing.

SAE

SAE offers access to top research and engineering content related to mobility, security and the world in motion. The platform SAE MOBILUS includes reports, conference proceedings, scientific journals and standards.

Examples of content covered include: Electrical, electronics and avionics, Cyber security, Safety, Management and organization, Human factors and ergonomics.
