Taylor & Francis ebooks

The database contains e-books in most subject areas. Once you have made a search, you can limit to the e-books that the Anna Lindh Library has access to. They are marked with a green checkmark or an Open Access symbol.

So, there are two types of eBooks available here:
DRM-free books: the books are marked with a green checkmark and can be read by an unlimited number of users. They can be read online and downloaded.
Open access books: these books are marked with an open padlock and can be downloaded and read online.

Reading online and offline

Most books can be read both online and offline, both on computer and mobile devices. The entire book or each chapter separately can be downloaded as a pdf.

The database has its own online reader that opens when you open the book.

You can download the entire book either as a PDF or in E-PUB format.

Use Adobe Acrobat Reader for PDF. It is available both as a program for the computer and as an app for tablet/smartphone. With the reader's own tools, you can make bookmarks, strikethroughs, and notes.

For the E-PUB format, you can use Bluefire Reader, iBooks, or Adobe Digital Editions in tablet/smartphone. The e-PUB format adapts better to different screen sizes but doesn't show the page numbering as clearly.

Please note that books larger than 200 MB cannot be read online and must be downloaded.

Print and copy

You have unlimited possibilities to print and copy, both when reading online and offline, but only for personal use. It is not allowed to distribute the book further.

It is not permitted to incorporate material from Taylor & Francis into material collections/course compendia. However, it is allowed to link to the material.

Create your own account

You can register a personal user account with Taylor & Francis. Then, when you read the book online, you can save bookmarks and notes that you make in the online reader. In addition, you can save searches, get alerts, and save titles to your own bookshelf.
