Scholarship for studies at the University of Wisconsin-Madison
The Brittingham Viking Organization in Sweden has just opened applications for for students studying at Swedish Universities..The scholarship covers tuition fees, living expenses, and travel costs.
Each year, the Brittingham Viking Organization sends one Swedish student to study at the University of Wisconsin–Madison as a scholarship recipient. The scholar travels together with Finnish, Danish, and Norwegian scholars and takes part in a cultural exchange. At the same time, American students travel to study in one of the Nordic countries.
Having just returned home, I can easily say that this was one of the best years of my life. This is not only an academic exchange but also an opportunity to travel and take part in genuine cultural exchange with Americans who themselves have studied in the Nordic countries.
/Olle, former scholarship recipient
The Brittingham Viking Organization was founded in 1953, and the academic exchange between the United States and, specifically, the University of Wisconsin–Madison has been ongoing ever since.
