Academic Ceremony 2024

On Friday 22 November, the Swedish Defence University's academic ceremony will take place with the conferment of new doctors and honorary doctors, the inauguration of new professors and the presentation of prizes and awards at Stockholm City Hall.

The registration link above is for guests who are invited to participate in the ceremony and subsequent banquet together with one accompanying guest.

Place

City Hall, Hantverkargatan 1. The main party entrance, Borgargården.

Clothing

For guests of honour and other guests at the ceremony and banquet, full civilian or military formal attire applies:

Mess dress or
uniform model C1 or
tailcoat with white waistcoat and white bow tie or
full-length evening dress or
folk or national costume.

Smart casual for guests attending the ceremony only.
