Strategic Leadership in the Global Societal Security Environment Programme
This is a strategic leadership programme for decision makers, policy makers, academics and researchers working in the global societal security environment.
The programme consists of four different modules.
Fundamentals of national and international peace and security
The first course will provide information about strategic leadership and the diagnostic tools for determining if, when and for whom a situation can be considered a crisis. The course participants will also receive information about all of the different phases from peace to post-conflict.

Strategic leadership in the global societal security environment
The purpose of the second course is to provide the participants with analytical tools for better understanding why and how strategic actors prioritize critical societal functions and influence international peace and security.

Strategic leadership with focus on decision-making in the global societal security environment
The third course has a specific focus on strategic decision-making in the global societal security environment. This course further builds upon the previously utilized knowledge and analytical tools to sharpen the participants’ decision-making abilities.

Meeting place for strategic leadership in the global societal security environment
The fourth and last course gives an unique, inspiring and recurring meeting place and facilitates a constructive dialogue for programme alumni where perspectives and ideas can be shared, aired and critically discussed. Another aim is to facilitate bridging the gap between theory and practice and exchange lessons and best practices.
