Strategic Talks: The War in Ukraine - Military-Strategic Implications

Welcome to a panel discussion where researchers at the Swedish Defence University and guests will give their perspectives on the war in Ukraine. The seminar is broadcasted live as a webinar open to the public.
In the second panel discussion about the war in Ukraine in the Strategic Talks series, we will meet experts from the Swedish Defence University and invited guests with the ability to deepen the analysis and provide multiple perspectives on the war.
Some of the issues that will be discussed are the military strategic situation in Ukraine, urban warfare and the motivation of the Ukrainian armed forces.
Moderator:
Oscar Jonsson, Researcher in War Studies, Swedish Defence University, with a special interest in Russia, contemporary warfare and the changing character of war.
Panelists:
Ilmari Käihkö, Associate Professor in War Studies, Swedish Defence University. His academic interests concern, among other things, contemporary war and military strategy.
Anna Danielsson, Associate Professor in War Studies, Swedish Defence University. In her research Danielsson has studied, among other things, urban warfare and security, joint operations and the production of knowledge and space in international interventions.
Johan Norberg, Research Director at the Swedish Defence Research Agency (FOI) with a special interest in Russia's military development.
