Roofing work DKV 30/Brinellvägen week 38-48

Akademiska Hus will carry out roof work in building 43:20 at Drottning Kristinas väg 30-32. The roof work includes replacing existing roofing felt, waterproofing mat, sheet metal work and updating the roof safety.

How will it be done?

Akademiska Hus' roofing contractor BITAB will carry out the roofing work. To enable access to the roof in a way that minimizes the impact on ongoing operations, stair towers will be erected for access from the outside. Then the stair tower is needed for work environment and safety reasons. We will also need to build scaffolding for safety reasons – this so that the work can be carried out in a safe and secure way. An APD plan (Workplace disposition plan/sketch) will be sent over before the start of production, which among other things reports the location of stair towers, scaffolding, storage areas, etc.

When will it be implemented?

Roof work will take place during weeks 38 to 48

How will the business be affected?

The work will proceed according to the above schedule. The roof work is concentrated on the roof and no other areas need to be used except the ground surface where the stair tower is to be placed for access to and from the roof and part of the ground surface where scaffolding is to be placed. Any disturbing work for the business will be located between 07:00 and 09:00.
