Engelsk beskrivning om dig själv: Edward Deverell is Associate Professor at the Department of Political Science at the Swedish Defence University. He received his PhD from Utrecht University's School of Governance in 2010. Edward is course convener for Politics and Public administration and Bachelor's Thesis at the graduate level and for Public Policy Analysis at the postgraduate level. His research spans an interdisciplinary terrain with a focus on crisis management, particularly in public sector and governmental contexts. Edward has published on topics such as crisis-induced learning, organizational adaptation, and the role of communication, culture, and governance in managing and learning from crises. He has published his research in journals such as Public Management Review, Risk Management, International Journal of Disaster Risk Reduction, Risk, Hazards and Crisis in Public Policy and Journal of Contingencies and Crisis Management. His current research focuses on inclusive crisis management and on individuals experiencing vulnerability in times of crisis.
