John Nisser is a doctoral student and military teacher at the Department of Military Studies, Joint Warfare Division at the Swedish Defence University. John’s doctoral project focuses on military doctrines, specifically on how to implement military doctrines.
John Holds a Master’s degree in Peace and Conflict Studies and a Bachelor’s degree in Peace and Development Studies from Uppsala University, and a separate Bachelor’s degree in War Studies from the Swedish Defence University. Prior to joining the Swedish Defence University, John worked in the Swedish Air Force rising to the rank of captain.
