Antoine Bousquet is Associate Professor in Political Science and Director of Postgraduate Studies. His research interests lie at the intersection of war and security, the history and philosophy of science and technology, and social and political theory in the digital age.

Antoine is the author of the influential "The Scientific Way of Warfare: Order and Chaos on the Battlefields of Modernity" (now in its second edition) and the award-winning "The Eye of War: Military Perception from the Telescope to the Drone." He has also contributed a wide array of publications on subjects that include Cold War computing, the revolution in military affairs, complexity theory, jihadist networks, nuclear war, and the conceptualisation of war and technological change. He is currently writing a monograph on the intellectual reception of nuclear weapons spanning the fields of science, strategy, philosophy, and political theory.

In addition to serving as programme director for the Master's in Politics, Security, and Crisis, he presently teaches an undergraduate course on "Nuclear Weapons in International Security."
