Four questions about studying at the SEDU

The website is often the first point of contact between the Swedish Defence University and prospective students. It would therefore be valuable to us if you, as a current student, share your experiences — what has been positive, what has been less positive, and anything that may have surprised you.

Email your answers to the four questions below to kom@fhs.se. You do not need to worry too much about wording; we will edit the text before publication. Please feel free to write more rather than less. Naturally, you will have the opportunity to approve the text before it is published. Please also attach a landscape-format photo of yourself and, if possible, include the photographer’s name.

• Why do you think someone should study at the Swedish Defence University?
• What has been particularly good about studying here?
• Can you give an example of something that has surprised you during your studies? (Perhaps a preconception that was challenged, an unexpected encounter, or something entirely different.)
• In your view, what is a typical student at the Swedish Defence University like?
