Academic Ceremony 2026

The Swedish Defence University's Academic Ceremony 2026 will be held on 26 November at Stockholm City Hall.

At the ceremony, new professors, associate professors, PhDs and laureates are recognized.

The ceremony includes:

• Inauguration of professors
• New associate professors
• Conferment of doctoral degrees
• Conferment of honorary doctors
• Award ceremony
• Medal ceremony

• The Siegroth Prize
• The Swedish Defence University's Medal of Merit
