- Simon Hollis is associate professor in crisis management and international coordination. He received his PhD in International Relations at the Hertie School of Governance in 2012 and writes on international disaster management, risk and resilience. Hollis has published in a number of top journals in his field and is author of Resilience in the Pacific and Caribbean: The local construction of Disaster Risk Reduction (Routledge, 2021) and The Role of Regional Organisations in Disaster Risk Management: A strategy for global resilience (Palgrave, 2015). Simon is also the director of PhD studies in political science.
