Visiting scholarship

Doctoral students who are members of the research school can apply for a visiting scholarship at SEDU.

The Swedish Defence University has a well-developed PhD programme and research environment in several disciplines (War Studies, Political Science, Military History, and Leadership and Command & Control).

The scholarship can be awarded for one to two terms (one term is 20 weeks) and includes access to the library and a working station (all travel and living costs are covered by your own institution). As a visiting doctoral student, you are expected to participate in research seminars and other activities at the SEDU during the scholarship period.
