Terms and conditions for commissioned education bookings

Your registration is binding. Below are the terms and conditions that apply should you need to cancel your booking.

The training or seminar is conducted in accordance with the Ordinance (2002:760) on Commissioned Education at Universities and University Colleges. Agreements for commissioned education may only be entered into with legal entities, such as a company or an organisation. Private individuals or sole traders cannot purchase our commissioned training programmes.

Cancellation

For cancellations made 30 days or fewer before the start of the training, 100 percent of the course fee will be charged, unless a shorter cancellation period is stated for the specific course on its webpage. In such cases, the shorter cancellation period applies. For courses that include residential stays, accommodation costs may be charged.

In case of prevention from attending, the place may be transferred to another person within the same company or organisation following consultation with the Swedish Defence University.

A full refund of the course fee is only granted in the event of an acute illness or injury affecting the participant or a close relative, where the situation prevents attendance. This must be substantiated with a medical certificate.

If the Swedish Defence University is charged for accommodation for individual participants despite illness and submission of a medical certificate, such costs will be invoiced to the commissioning party.

If the terms are not accepted or complied with, the Swedish Defence University reserves the right to cancel individual training commissions.

Cancelled or Rescheduled Training

The Swedish Defence University reserves the right to cancel planned training or change training dates. In such cases, any fees paid will be refunded. No further compensation will be paid. Should this occur, you will be informed well in advance.

Payment

Participation in training provided by the Swedish Defence University is subject to its general terms of payment unless otherwise agreed. The course fee is paid in arrears after the training has been completed. Payment is made against invoice. Payment terms: 30 days.
