Just nu florerar mängder av falska webbsidor, e-postmeddelanden och sms som utnyttjar människors rädsla för coronaviruset.

Det rör sig bland annat om sidor som uppträder som legitima hälsomyndigheter, insamlingar till forskning, erbjudanden om vaccin och mediciner, möjlighet att ladda ner interaktiva kartor med antal smittade m.m.

Tips hur du undviker risk

• Klicka inte på länkar från källor som du inte känner till.
• För den mest aktuella informationen om Coronavirus, besök Folkhälsomyndigheten,Myndigheten för samhällsskydd och beredskap, Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) och Världshälsoorganisationen (WHO).
• Ignorera onlineerbjudanden för vaccinationer. Det finns för närvarande inga vacciner eller mediciner tillgängliga för behandling eller bota Coronavirus sjukdom 2019 (COVID-19) – varken online eller i butiker.

At the moment, there are lots of fake websites, emails and text messages cropping up trying to exploit people's fears about the coronavirus.

These include sites claiming to be legitimate health authorities, or fund-raising for research, offering vaccines and medicines, offering downloads of interactive maps with numbers of infected, etc.

Tips on avoiding risk

• Do not click on links from sources you do not know.
• For the most up-to-date information on Coronavirus, visit the Public Health Agency, the Swedish Civil Contingencies Agency, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the World Health Organization (WHO).
• Ignore online offers for vaccinations. There are currently no vaccines or medication available to treat or cure Coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) – not online nor in any shops.
