In Ebook Central you will find books in many different subject areas.

Reading e-books

To read e-books in Ebook Central, you must log in with your FHS account even within the school's fixed and wireless networks. When you log in, a personal account is created.

Downloading

You can save chapters or the entire book. There is information for each book about how many pages you can save as a PDF or copy.

To download a book you need an Adobe ID. Download Adobe Digital Editions to your computer (if you have an FHS computer, it is already installed) and approve it with your Adobe ID. On your mobile phone or tablet, you can also download Adobe Digital Editions or an application such as Bluefire reader which you approve with your Adobe ID.

Printing and copying

When reading online, you can print and copy a certain number of pages. You can see the relevant number of pages for each title.

Bookshelf

When you log in, your own account is created in Ebook Central.
Here you can save documents, write comments on or make bookmarks in the books and see which books you have downloaded.
