Centre for Cyber Defence and Information Security (CDIS)

The Centre for Cyber Defence and Information Security (CDIS) develops knowledge that will strengthen Sweden's cyber defence and information security.

The centre was founded in 2020 as a collaboration between the Royal Institute of Technology (KTH) and the Swedish Armed Forces.

CDIS connects researchers and educators in cybersecurity and information security. The goal is to develop knowledge, create new methods, tools, concepts and applications in the field of cyber defense and information security. CDIS will also facilitate the transfer of knowledge to partner organisations and partners.

The Swedish Defence University has participated in the collaboration since 2021 through its Forum for Cyber Security and Cyber Operations, and contributes, among other things, to KTH's new master's program in cyber security, as well as to KTH's doctoral studies.
